Andrew Norrie – Founder
Andrew has 25 years of experience in client service, strategy, planning and revenue growth demonstrated across a variety of industries, including professional services. As an entrepreneur, he has led many successful start-ups from the stage of ideation, to generating millions of dollars in revenue. He has a natural ability to innovate, establish a brand, and to build and lead highly productive teams.
In 2007, he founded Four Corners Group, an executive search firm that quickly grew to become one of the top 50 in North America. During his ten years of leading the strategic growth of the firm, he helped many prominent organizations define their leadership talent requirements, as well as identify and place key executives in critical roles. Upon successfully exiting the firm, he launched Catapult Growth Partners in Canada.
Andrew brings an immense depth of expertise in understanding the complete organizational capability of a company. He has been the trusted advisor to many key executives and entrepreneurs enabling them to accelerate revenue growth and expansion. His entrepreneurial spirit, strategic capabilities, and leadership offer significant value to the clients of Catapult Growth Partners.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Trent University as well as a Master’s Degree in Leadership from the University of Guelph.
John Watts – Founder & Chief Executive Officer
John is an experienced business leader with proven accomplishments in both start-ups and Fortune 500 companies. He provides clients with deep expertise across the following key areas:

- Revenue Growth – proven experience in closing new client revenue and growing existing client revenue.

- Talent Assessment & Acquisition – ability to source and identify high potential talent.
John’s wide breadth of experience allows him to provide immense value across a broad and diverse range of industries. This provides John a unique perspective to innovatively solve client challenges efficiently and effectively.
John began his 25 year career in agency marketing at Rapp Collins, then launched a start-up outsourcing company for marketing technology called Exchange Solutions. He has recently been accountable for professional services delivery and sales at Pitney Bowes Software, a Fortune 500 software company. Regardless of the size and maturity of the organization, John has driven sales and increased profitability consistently.
These experiences and skills provide current clients with roadmaps to increase their valuation targets for potential acquisitions and options to merge.
John has a Bachelor of Science from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Education from The University of Maine.
Kevin Astle – Partner
Kevin is an internationally seasoned business leader and marketing strategist with time-proven executive management skills and multi-platform, multi-industry experience. For more than a decade, he has championed integrated service breadth, robust process and international infrastructure development for award-winning marketing agencies such as The Marketing Store Worldwide, BBDO / Generator Ideaworks and Fuel Industries.
He has successfully brokered mergers and acquisitions, strategic alliances and the structured recruitment of top professionals across an ever-evolving marketing communications world including:
- Social engagement marketing
- Mobile and digital media
- Public relations
- Branded entertainment
- Events and sponsorship
Most recently, Kevin has worked for several major international technology companies like Blackberry and IMI Mobile in the social and mobile space. This has involved undertaking complex market development roles introducing BBM’s mobile media services and IMI’s Mobile Enterprise solutions to North America’s telcos and major media management agencies.
Previously as COO of Syncapse Corp – an ‘upstart’ Toronto based digital tech start-up focused on the emerging social technology space, he managed the company’s growth from a fledgling 20 person operation in Toronto into a rapidly evolving, robust 190 person international group of companies, operating in three countries. This experience included the acquisition and integration of companies in both the US and UK markets and the raising of over $30 million in investment financing.
He was recognized as “International Professional of the Year” in 1996 by The Marketing Agencies Association – Worldwide (MAAW) and served as the President of that organization from 1998 to 2000, leading its evolution from North American to global focus via the introduction of the GLOBES’ annual industry recognition program.
Kevin’s early career was spent in the UK, where he obtained an economics degree from the University of London, learning the marketing and sales ropes in P&G-style regional sales and brand management roles, before evolving into international market development assignments.
